By Robin Sharma,
“Problems are servants, problems bring possibilities. They help you grow and lead to better things, both in your organisation and within your life.
Inside every problem lies a precious opportunity to improve things. Every challenge is nothing more than a chance to make things better. To avoid them is to avoid growth and progress. To resist them is to decline greatness. Embrace and get the best from the challenges in front of you.
And understand the only people with no problems are dead. An unhappy customer yelling at you might seem like a problem. But to a person thinking like a leader, that scenario is also a great opportunity to improve the organisations processes to ensure that doesn’t happen again, and to get some feedback that may be used to enhance products and services. So the problem has actually helped to improve the company. Free market research! An interpersonal conflict can seem like a problem.
But if you think like a leader and use the circumstance to build understanding, promote communication and enrich the relationship, the problem has actually made you better. It has been fodder for your growth and served you nicely. Bless it.An illness, divorce or loss of a loved one might seem like a problem, but the saddest examples bring depth, compassion and wisdom.
They give immense self awareness. Problems reveal genius. World class organisations have a culture that sees problems as the opportunities for improvement. Don’t condemn them – learn from them and embrace them. World class human beings turn their wounds into wisdom, they leverage their failures to bring them closer to success, they don’t see problems. Remember, a mistake is only a mistake if you make it twice.

hi…Sanjib..wishing a beautiful morning..!!!!
i believe this is so true word by word that all is written in this article…yes indeed …difficult situations of our life are like examination or test…as we always think that we study hard and learnt so much so we know what is expected from us..but when the exams come at that time knowing all in heart stil a fear comes before attempting and we feel blank and so nerous that we think that we dont know anything and it is so difficult to clear it…but when we are able to go through it with good marks then only we realise that it was not so difficult as it appeared to us and it was must to know what is our level of understanding..
so in real life also if we think we are prepared for everything yet problems come and looks like someone has thrown so much pebbles is our calm life .and we lose peace..but if we wisely handle the problem and remain self centred and then we realise that how nice it was as such experiences only give us chance to learn more and more about ourslef and more …and yogic wisdoms help us to overcome these problems to take it lighty and wisely…
though when we are in middle of the sadest and hardest episodes of our life…like losing someone dear to us by death or break ups..
or losing jobs…or having diseases that dont have easy cures…or having problem to achieve the success as we wished for ..or circumstancail problems not becuase of us but someother’s careless and lack of sincere attitudes but stil effecting our lives…we feel like hell that time …but when we are able to pass that phase sometime we realise that all those problems and difficulties had come to give us chance to make us so wonderful..as in tackling those problems and failures we learn so much that we cannot learn that we have a constant normal life ..
and i believe that some people living normay whole life achieve success easily and normaly but they dont value it much… but a person gone through the failures in success or realtions when he gets success after so much of hard phases of life THAT SUCCESS REALLY MATTERS…then…as it is not attained so easily…and the person will do any efforts to Maintain what he achieved now and value it so much and wil do hard work to achieve more success in relations or carreer as he knows that LOSING again what it meant..
so all the GREAT people are great as they lived with problems more ..and so i believe Little HardShips and Difficulties even Criticism all are MOST WELCOME in life …just we need to learn the tactics by YOGIC WISDOMS to pass through these tests..so that we dont break or shatter or harm ourselves while going through these things…
Thanks Sanjib…sometimes some days i realy find difficult but hearing all these positively charged thoughts I come back soon from negativity or dull feelings to Posiitve and full of energy and happy feelings….
regards and love and care…Rekha
Hi to all!!!!!!!this situation is faced by all of us especially when you do a course or when you are back from a break…….OH GOD!!!!!!same old people, problems….oh noooo!!its like this always.my observation is that if we continue with our daily practices that can keep us centred.Always ready to face challenges in our lives as they come.Whole perspective of living changes
good morningn sanjib!yes problems and issues create new possibilities-and leaders-true-thnx..
Hi Rekha..Thanks for sharing your thoughts. In fact your thoughts corresponds with my thoughts..
Robin rules:)
It is really important in life to keep checking our own growth…if we feel that we are not being able to move forwards… then check whether it is some outside factors….or our own self created fears..or inhibitions or barriers of mind are slowing us down or holding us back….as all the remedy also only we have to find to remove the holding back factors….
and if we cannot do so then we will not only stay where we are but wil be pulled backwards more or fall downwards more n more instead of reching somewhere of reaching the heights…
.
and if the path becomes backwards or downwards it is deadly and very hard to come out so better to be start from where we are to forwards only…so that we surely move on and on and reach our desiny and heights…:)”
very nice article indeed! thanks for sharing it! Good day!
Hi Sanjib!
It might be not that easy to change our mind. Sudden impulse usually leads us to
frustrations. That’s why we need to focus, meditate and reflect. By then, use these struggles to improve ourselves. Your examples teach us how to apply this healthful pattern to our daily lives.
