Wow !!!! So you do believe in it that there are many lives…. Many Bodies and One Life !!! you mean to say One Atman…. and enter into different bodies with different role and character…. Please explain me more !!!!
one soul living many lifes, thats what i believe and each time we remerge into the physical we choose the type of life to be born into to experience different things x

wow! your answer has got me thinking from a new perspective! so “one life but existing through many bodies” would imply no existence of time…wow!! we’re so conditioned with the concept of time that it’s hard to visualize:)
What about experiencing more than one lives simoultaneously?
Awesome! Since learning meditation from you, I have sensed there are other experiences which haven’t come through this ‘lifetime’. Powerful thought to know that this body is just one phase of our ‘life’. The power we can extract from that is quite amazing, Thanks Sanjib for teaching these ways.
one life, many bodies but definately feel some connection between the past body , people around us and present body , people around us….

Alpana Swarup… when you think about the past or future, where does time actually exist?.. only in the mind…. our mind makes up our whole perception of life:)
But Sanjib…. Natasha says we choose the type of life to be born…. but I have not choose to be alone entire my life… Am proud about my family but not that am alone .
alpana, indeed there is no time, everything is now. Time is a man made thing in order for our lives to feel more structured in this modern society.

Does our soul magically ‘manifest’ at birth? Well if it did then it would be created so that means new energy being created – so perhaps not. The soul/energy/life initiator to the body arrives to give us life and connect us to the super-conscious so where was it before? Sanjib I didn’t answer the question because I don’t believe there is a straight forward one!
Time is only an illusion, they say. It is easier to go trough the everyday experiences in a linear timeline. What would we do without time??? I guess we’d be confused very much.
But why we do not remember our previous bmeody… why we forget everything… and why we choose a life which we really do not like at times ?????
Kalyani Sengupta….. your life can be anything you want it to be… no one says you have to be alone…… besides you have all of us…. your more connected than you ever know:)
so do you want to come back again and again or want to go to the next level.

and so our present will lead to future life….

james, i believe that everything that has ever been created in the non physical was created in the begining. Which means now that there is no new non physical creation , we r now experiencing the physical and creating in physical form, we have been sent forth to create and experience the true joy of creation just like our source created the non physical.
That means I was foolish in my past life and so I choose this life… but now am aware of it so I can dictate my next life…..how I want it would be …
Ami & Levai: Just as we said time is a concept of the mind, a man-made idea, we are all one consciousness experiencing life through various lives simultaneously…love this knowledge!!:):)

In the 1970′s I owned a recording studio & recorded many hypnosis sessions on previous lives – regression plus we also did some progression – taking people forward in time both with some amazing results. There is more in the universe than we can possibly know. One thing for sure is – our concept of time is not complete or linear.
i would replace the word dictate to “choose”
Simple question difficult to answer,i think its all in our believe,scientifically there is no evidence exist by which i can make out wht I was b4 than wht I am now.!Its more of spiritual to believe in,though its take time to understand the process,personally I believe that each life is like another grade in school and you have to pass before moving on to the next step, and that death is just the transition to the next grade.And to pass with good grades I have to perform well at my this present life…
That means … this is the life I have “earned” for my previous life… but I wanted this … I dont know….

Kalyani: “why I earn this life?” – To learn. And to take the chance to do it differently this time. After asking the why question, we move forward to do something good with what we call our present life.
Why I have not learnt this in my previous life / body…then I would have earned a better life / body ..NOW !!!
@chitra, why are scared about being an animal? it is your choice and most of the time humans do not choose to become animals. i believe it is solely ur choice what your next life will be and it is not earnt or dictated, so really there is no need to feel fear, just as u choose what u do here in your physical life you also do the same in the non physical.
Kalyani: don’t blame yourself… somehow you had to go through those experiences. Just accept it. It is good for something which you do not understand now yet.
I believe There is ONE SOUL ,that is immortal,does not get born or die ,or never ever get harmed or effected ever ,This Soul in every birth changes Shapes,Gender,Place ,Roles ,Forms ,Human or Animal or Insect n sooooo on .When we talk about Past lives then also we talking or thinking about that ROLE in LIFE DRAMAS of that ERA only which we play ,live, n body dies when it gets old or completes its Karma of that birth and takes birth again in another form. But in Every BIRTH just two days are very Important always , The DAY WE ARE BORN N THE DAY WE FIND N REALISE THE PURPOSE OF YOUR LIFE . Rest all Emotions ,FEARS ,Desires ,Relations,Our Actions ,Duties, are all til there till OUR PRANA IS THEIR IN OUR BODY !!!
Kalyani- you may not have been bothered by spiritual teachings in ur previous life and this is the life where u learn more… again with ur next life it could be something different.

@Natasha-Do we get options to choose wht we want to become in nxt life?Or else its our deeds based on which God decides in wht manner he want to see us?But than first of all we need to believe in existance of God….& once u r sure God exist than life exist..in past,in present & in future too….Now again I’m back to the above question..in searching to answer many more questions arose in my mind……What I was?What I’m..& Wht I’ll be…..???
Completely agree with Rekhaji…past lives existed…but due to our karmas…we must have some debits or credits that we owe to someone or are owed by someone….hence we are back in this cylce of life to tally our account of our soul which is always the same no matter how many births we got to go thru and in any form….once the account tallies,,,then we could get moksh!

i dont believe there is any debt or credit, each life we live we choose, we experience, we attract, we create.
@chitra, the choice is yours and only yours! source(god or whatever u choose to call it) created you so you could experience the fullness of being a creative being. source is not going to create you and say well now u are bound by my rules, rules are man made to keep people in check. Source created you to choose and to be whatever u choose to be, source gave you emotions and your emotions are your guidance system, if everyone stayed connected to source and allowed their own emotional guidance system(not others) to guide them through life the world would be much happier.
I believe in the one thought that “you born many a times with different bodies, but every birth you cant think.about your past life or the life after death all you can do is live every moment of this life with knowledge , wisdom , and be a Instrument of others help in every birth… I love this life because it is worth living happily…jgd
Natasha–In other words,u got one life ,its upto us/me how I take it & choose to live it.I can live like a Queen or a Begger,else like Saint or Sinner,or else like Human Being or Animal,whtever way I choose to..I shud never forget the path I have taken now will take me to destination in this life only ,that destination where my Soul will gets Moksha or Nirvana.

Always Live life like A QUEEN , Never forget to Wear your Invisible Crown n Live Elegantly Gracefully and this is the Way to Live Life On Your Terms Your Ways n Define Success in your own ways pushing past the Boundaries and Reach the Destination defined by you not that Set by Others n that is compelling for you and When you live like a Queen you get respect n love n regard of all n ofcourse you feel like having Responsibility Invisible undefined unwritten but TO TAKE CARE OF EVERYONE SURROUNDING YOU , and when you give Care to others n Make them Happy you yourself get back thousand times Care yourself n no one wil take you granted n that is what i Feel Leading A LIFE OWN WAY BEST FOR YOURSELF N WORTH LIVING FOR OTHERS TOO n REMEBERED FOREVER IN HEARTS even after your dying ..!!!!!
