good mrning-sanjib-for me my father n brother r d most inspirational persons n my life–both hv taught me patience, persistence, ambition, hard wrk ,and desire to live happily n positvely n life!!
Mother Teresa. Pure LOVE, COMPASSION, EMPATHY, all her lovely life, AND, I’ve read she never(?) felt the “presence” of God. If I heard that right. Which demonstrates UBER FAITH. WOW. WOW. WOW. I can ONLY DREAM of such GREATNESS. LOVE. PEACE.
The shut up guru coz she rocks!!!!!
and my nan coz she rocked tooo
Oh, Henry Kissinger, also.. Not sure why. Perhaps it was some longing to speak as he did. ?
good morning sanjib my father inspires me most he always taught there is no age bar to learn any thing be always positive in life and my mother taught me patience.how can i forgot my husband his attitude abt work ,work hard and never give up.Hard work always pays
I wouldn’t say people in general but for one my school Mt. Carmel and then Bhagvatgita which I studied as a course in college in Sanskrit as a subject!
From these I learnt to be selfless and a Karmayogi.Today the values I have–do ur work without expectations and ur duty. If one has feelings for duty then u can do anything without thinking for whom u are doing!
Another gr8 topic Sanjibji,So many people inspired me in my life. Also Whenever Iread anything from a simple story to books of great people like Gandhiji,Mother teresa,Floerence Nightingale all this inspired me.So I think reading or hearing anything with a positive thinking defenitely reflects on a person and becomes a great motivation & is sure to reflect on us..
Rekhaji,no words to say…u have exressed everything possible to b discussed on this topic….its really a great fiow of words full of life…gud work.

Thanks Rekha that is so kind of you to say that……May god bless all of us and give what ever they want…….
I suppose Carl Rogers and Irvin Yalom, two renowned psychologists; for their understanding of the Human Condition and their ability to see the “reframe” in all actions.
Very True.
hey………i’ve always been my own inspiration….every time i goofed up in life, i realised, this is what i won’t do again. And every time i made someone smile, i promised myself i’ll do it more often…:) so…well….yea…i’ve been my own inspiration so far!
hi….Rekha …u really explained a lot of things in a matured manner..there are a lot of people in everybody’s life who directly or indirectly inspired… sometime we noticed and most of the time we don’t even realize. My grand-mother used to say one pharse…”kaha bade ka kijiye aur sikh balak ke liziye” .
And I feel its a fact, inspiration is a continuous process and it will be till end of one’s life…. every moment we learn new things….from first step of life to another but the source of inspiration is differents…parents in childhood……teachers in school….after marriage husband …in-laws….childrens…..and in every step of life there are one common source of inspiration is good friends who always inspired a lot …..so it is very difficult and unjustice to express one or two names …its a lonnnnng list ….
Thanks and love
and thanks to sanjib for introducing such a good medium of discussions
Hi kajla…thanks for participation and appreciating my thoughts..

Have a nice day everyone
Oeppss … i forgot to say why he inspired me the most.
From my brother I have learned how to become tolerant, patience and loving in every situation, no matter what people say or do I must me pure in my thoughts and deeds, he has so much patience with me as I’m not a quick learner because I’m a bit stubborn
It took him years … Now I can say … I am what I am because of God & my brother

I’m having a “great” time at work … with lots of deadlines
Starts with a “G” and ends with an “i”
, nobody had a greater impact on me. His wisdom, his love, his continuous work, his grace and beauty, it all makes me want to grow.
Hi,
The different people I have met in the various stages of my life have inspired me in their different ways. Parents, Teachers, Friends..have inspired me to be stronger, patient, positive, tolerant. Its been my children me who have made me more calm, patient and loving person. And I feel inspiration is a continous life long process when you want to improve and grow.In fact those hurt you also teach you a few things to improve upon yourself. Rekha Malhotra in her post has covered all and explained it so beautifully. Thanks.

Hi all,
Rekha, you put my thoughts into words:), I can’t think only of a person, I think of the universe itself, that’s where I take the energy I need to live. Many thanks for your beautiful words. My family and friends has inspired and still inspire me as well
Cheers from Argentina xD
My soul. I draw inspiration from my spirit/soul seated in my heart. People call it by different names, but I would like to call it Krishna; the most attractive One. I hear Him, like the call of the lute, when I am tuned ‘in’….but sadly turn a deaf ear when I am tuned ‘out’.
Thou hast ever been my soul/companion, Thy love for me knows no bounds.
How can I ever match Thy love or repay Thee in pounds?
Once, a ‘babe in woods’ was I, afraid of the dark.
As a mother, Thou held me to Thy bosom and rocked me in Thine arms.
The little girl in me wanted to play sweet games of innocence.
As a sister did’st Thou share with me, naughty pranks and childish nonsense.
The woman in me wanted a mate, to share a bond and with love, to greet.
As a husband did’st Thou come to me and sweep me off my feet.
My motherhood wanted to blossom. I was feeling alone.
A command for Thee was my every wish. As a son to me did’st Thou come.
As a maid did’st Thou serve me, to bring comfort to my home.
When confusion confounded, did’st Thou come as a friend to tell me I was’nt alone.
I took Thy love for granted. Excitement held me in its sway.
With supreme love did’st Thou chastise me for forgetting to pray.
My life had been full of mistakes. I had blundered many a times.
As a guru did’st Thou come, to absolve me of my sins.
When death shall strike and I shall breathe no more,
I know Thou shall be there to greet me on the other side of the door.
Thou art the Muse and the Music, the beloved, her love and the Lord.
My dearest, how can I sing Thy praise in mere inadequate words?
HI Madhushree, thank you so much..we do all discussions on Face Book..but when i saw your coment on site apreciating me i thought to say a note of thanks to you…yes every thing every person big or little can give us inspiration and when this thought comes to mind then only we can feel that all are great…as all are wonderful and unique creations of God..so he puts his inspiration in different forms for us to learn all through our life…:)..love and regards…Rekha…
well said rekha…even people hurt us badly can teach us a good lesson for future…and help us in our inner growth….all such type of inspiration create beautiful and wonderful creations like poetry, painting, story and many things.
For me it’s difficult to name one person..I get inspired so easily by everyone…whenever I see someone living their dreams, or facing a challenge head on with full spirit and guts, that’s when I feel uplifted the most. Whether the person be an icon like Nelson Mandela or fictional like Rocky…. I get fired up by them all..!
so True Sanjib …every thing every person we come across can inspire us…to do something good something great…

the most difficult one to answer..coz in the process of doing so we would end up hurting many. at times sum ppl expect their names and when we dnt come up with that they tend to be hurt.. but i proudly declare after GOD my parents my insipiration.

Mistakes!!?!!
In our life so many incidents or events or happenings, people, things inspire us to act the way we do.Sometimes a few simple words from someone have the power to change our viewpoint totally .
Guruji whatever knowledge is imparted is so true and when applied in realty gives somuch peace no words to decribe
everything around me inspire me. My family, friends, enemies, nature around us. Every sound and movement. It’s just perfect. All we need to do is look around us and we will see the answers.
